BARISTA
FRONT will re-emerge in 2020 in the Mission Arts district as an exhibition space and cafe inside The Archery. We are hiring a hospitality professional to operate & elevate the membership cafe. A rare opportunity to work in a non-traditional cafe environment with a focus on both member interaction and quality experience, this is a perfect role for a coffee pro with strong social skills and a passion for the arts. While this is initially a barista role, there is tremendous opportunity to grow into roasting, management, event programming and wholesale accounts.
Responsibilities
Primary barista in private cafe
Develop weekly coffee program with roaster
Maintain wholesale accounts
Work with food manager to develop and maintain cafe items
Maintain and grow membership of cafe (Membership is open to anyone)
Work with creative director to develop exhibition programming
Educate members on coffee program
Assist roaster
Compensation
